The judges for the 2022 Leicester Curry Awards will be revealed over the course of this week.
With only a few weeks to go until Leicester Curry Awards, this week we will start to reveal who the all important judges are this year.
With a big responsibility on their shoulders, the judges have been tasked with deciding which restaurants and takeaways deserve to win at this year’s event. With seven awards on the night up for grabs, the judging panel have been out and about over recent weeks visiting the restaurants and takeaways of the finalists and reporting back on their experience.
This year there are five mystery judges, who have assessed every conceivable aspect of the finalists’ offering.
Factors the judges have been considering include the welcome they receive at the venue, as well as the quality of the décor, crockery and cutlery. Menu choice is naturally an important factor, with the array of main courses, rice dishes, bread, chapattis and other accompaniments on offer all considered. Other elements examined include cleanliness, service and value for money.
