Our mystery judges have set out on the road, visiting those fine establishments which made it through to September’s grand final…
The judges are busy visiting takeaways and restaurants around the county – sampling the best that their menus have to offer. During their stay, they will also be savouring the overall dining experience – noting the service, cleanliness and overall atmosphere at each venue to decide if it’s worthy of a title at this year’s awards.
Winners will be revealed in eight different categories, during a ceremony on September 23 at Leicester’s Athena events venue.
Leicestershire’s ‘Best Takeaway’ and ‘Best Fine Dining Restaurant’ will be crowned, along with ‘Best Catering’, ‘Best Street Food’ and ‘Best Pub Restaurant’.
The county’s ‘Best New Restaurant’, ‘Best Vegetarian’, and the coveted ‘Restaurant of the Year’ will also be revealed!
